Neymar's World Cup Is End
The quarterfinals in FIFA 2022 is dramatic and exciting. There were times during Brazil's final game at this World Cup when Neymar wanted to do too much. As the match remained resolutely deadlocked into its second half, the Paris St-Germain forward dropped ever deeper, attempting to get on the ball, spin and force the issue for his team.

How Brazil's fans will be wishing their captain showed his leadership skills again when the game was sent to an unlikely penalty shootout. But Neymar did not feature as his team were dumped out 4-2, seemingly saving himself for a fifth kick which never came.

It seemed curious that he shirked a penalty on the biggest stage. With a career record of 74 scored to 15 missed he clearly has the ability, and probably more experience from 12 yards than anyone in the Brazil squad. It is now assumed that the fourth kick is statistically one of the most important in a shootout, and it is often where a team's best penalty taker will be placed into the order.

But now only Neymar and his coach will know why he was the exception to the rule. Neymar becomes another super star that only can be found in FIFA 23 for the rest of World Cup 2022.

Confliction Moment on Messi
Comparing the tearful Neymar, things are going to beyond contorl a little bit in anther game.

Lionel Messi became the player with the most assists on record in World Cup knockout matches on Friday, surpassing Pele when he teed up Nahuel Molina's goal against the Netherlands.

Messi produced a trademark assist as Argentina hit the front 35 minutes into their quarter-final clash with the Oranje, slipping a fine reverse ball behind a packed defence for Molina to finish.

Since such records began in 1966, no player has matched Messi's tally of five assists in knockout ties at the tournament, with Pele managing four.

Molina's goal also gave Messi his seventh World Cup assist overall, all of which have come for different goalscorers.

But Messi had already had a tense moment with the Dutch bench after the penalty shootout, obviously bleeding over off the field. Messi exchanged words with Dutch manager Louis van Gaal and his assistant Edgar Davids. He clearly makes a gesture a Davids with his hand, likely saying that they weren't talking as much as before, now that they are eliminated.

Meanwhile, Messi also has Confliction with referee, latter became the protagonist as the game wore on as he dished out a record breaking 15 yellow cards, the most in a single game in World Cup history.

Argentina will now take on Croatia in the semis on Tuesday, where Messi could make history by surpassing Batistuta. But obviously it will become the most tough game for Argentina so far.
