Of course, when selecting trading targets, you need to identify specific player cards that are well-suited for flipping.

The key to this method lies in capitalizing on the price spread; you need to look for player cards where there is a significant difference between the highest current buy order price and the lowest current sell order price. Then, place a buy order that is 1 stub higher than the current highest bid to ensure your order sits at the top of the queue. Once the card successfully lands in your inventory, immediately list it for sale at a price that is 1 Stub lower than the current lowest asking price. 

Naturally, the larger the price spread, the greater the profit you stand to make. However, don't forget that all your sales transactions are subject to a 10% transaction tax.

I recommend focusing your attention on cards that serve as prerequisites for completing Live Series collections or Team Affinity missions, as these cards tend to have the highest turnover rates. Furthermore, compared to standard player cards, equipment and perks often offer superior profit margins, as the price discrepancies between buy and sell orders are typically wider.

As your stash of MLB The Show 26 Stubs grows, try placing a larger number of simultaneous sell orders to maximize your total hourly earnings.

However, before you dive in, I must be upfront with you: compared to other money-making strategies, flipping carries significant risk, not to mention that profit margins in this year's market are particularly razor-thin. 

Many players suspect that the current market may very well be manipulated by bots. While this might sound like a far-fetched conspiracy theory, the reality is that the moment you place a buy order, another buy order immediately appears at a higher price, completely undercutting yours and ruining your trade. It's absolutely outrageous, though let's hope this is merely an isolated occurrence!

Investing in Specific Players

But enough about that; let's move on to our third method. This approach operates in a slightly different manner.

As you may already be aware, MLB The Show officially introduced a stub cap - or, more accurately, a player cap mechanism - this year. This means there is a strict limit on the maximum number of copies of any single, specific player card you are allowed to hold at one time. 

If you were hoping to stockpile a massive quantity of a particular player's cards—say, over 100 copies—that is simply no longer possible. The specific limit on how many copies of a card you can hold varies depending on the individual player in question. 

Therefore, I recommend investing in some popular, classic players, such as Logan O'Hoppe. Don't wait; go acquire 20 copies of this card right now! This is a recurring pattern: every year, with the launch of Easter event, these specific cards experience a significant surge in market value.

Indeed, the developers consistently incorporate Logan O'Hoppe's card into various mission requirements. Consequently, you will almost certainly need him for a mission at some point, and for this very reason, his market price is destined to skyrocket. 

Currently, each card costs only about 25 stubs, which represents its absolute rock-bottom price. Honestly, the worst-case scenario is simply selling them back for 25 stubs each, meaning you won't lose a single penny.

Silver-to-Gold Exchange

Now, let's move on to our final money-making strategy: Silver-to-Gold Exchange. So, how exactly does this work?

First, navigate to the in-game Marketplace and switch to MLB Player filter interface. Next, set your rating filter range to between 75 and 79, and invest in a certain quantity of player cards within that range. A quick tip: cards rated 77 generally offer the best value for money.

If you were to invest in 10 cards rated 77 right now and use them for Silver-to-Gold exchange, your total cost would be approximately 660 stubs. Of course, you could also opt to invest in cards rated 75. All you need to do is stockpile a massive quantity of these cards, you can never have too many!

Subsequently, head over to the Build menu, enter Exchange section, select the player exchange option, and you will be able to open the corresponding card packs. As long as the player you pull has a rating of 81 or higher, you are guaranteed to make a profit, to say nothing of pulling players with even higher ratings! Therefore, there is no doubt that you stand to make a handsome profit using this method.

If you haven't yet completed your Live Series collection, this also presents an excellent opportunity to acquire Gold cards, allowing you to pick them up at prices significantly lower than usual.
