In addition to the above, you can also earn extra XP by completing missions. Missions will be announced gradually, and the currently known missions are as follows:
- Acquire 27 RBIs using any player (5,000 XP)
- Strike out 85 times using any player (7,500 XP)
- Steal 38 bases using any player (10,000 XP)
Besides these, you can also earn XP through player trades, with a maximum of 50,000 XP earned this way.
10th Inning Boss
There are only two 10th Inning Boss Choice Packs in the rewards, meaning you can only obtain a maximum of two for free, and the last one can only be obtained through MLB The Show 25 stubs trade. So let's take a look at which of these three bosses is the most worthwhile to trade.
99 OVR Juan Soto, RF/LF, 2025 Finest
- Contact Right: 125
- Contact Left: 110
- Power Right: 125
- Power Left: 125
- Vision: 100
- Discipline: 125
- Clutch: 120
- Bunt: 41
- Drag Bunt: 31
- Durability: 98
From late September to early October, Juan Soto maintained a high on-base percentage, although his home run and slugging percentages slightly declined. He continued to generate key RBIs in the final stages of the regular season and in several games into October, providing consistent firepower for the team's playoff push. Although he couldn't lead New York Met to the playoffs, Silver Slugger Award is a testament to his ability.
As a hitter, 99 OVR Juan Soto boasts near-top-tier stats, with 125 power in both hands plus a high-powered bunt. His speed, stealing, and base running are also excellent, demonstrating not only skill in hitting but also mobility once on base. His hitting is almost flawless, but he might not be as versatile if your playstyle emphasizes defense or speed.
Juan Soto is undoubtedly the most recommended of the three Bosses. If you don't need an offensive player in this position, selling this card can earn you a significant amount of stubs.
99 OVR Aroldis Chapman, CP, 2025 Finest
- Stamina: 25
- H/9: 125
- K/9: 117
- BB/9: 102
- HR/9: 99
- Pitch Clutch: 125
- Control: 87
- Velocity: 99
- Break: 99
Aroldis Chapman maintained a very high level of performance throughout the season, continuing his dominance in the early October postseason. His 100.7 mph fastball strikeout against Yankees on October 2nd proved he still has the ability to close out games.
99 OVR Aroldis Chapman is virtually unbeatable as a finisher in the game. High K/9, high H/9, high Velocity, and high Break all indicate a dominant advantage over batters.
However, as a finisher, his usage scenarios are relatively limited. You need a lead and to bring him in the final innings, otherwise his value may not be fully realized. But if your team's overall depth is weak, this strong card cannot save the team.
Aroldis Chapman has a very strong ability to close out games. If your team has a strong defense, then he is a very good option.
99 OVR Nick Kurtz, 1B/RF, 2025 Finest
- Contact Right: 125
- Contact Left: 110
- Power Right: 125
- Power Left: 125
- Vision: 90
- Discipline: 125
- Clutch: 125
- Bunt: 35
- Drag Bunt: 25
- Durability: 95
As one of the brightest rookies of the 2025 season, Nick Kurtz maintained a high hitting efficiency in October and was nominated for Silver Slugger Award. He also showcased his consistent power hitting and excellent pitch selection in October MLB official highlight video.
99 OVR Nick Kurtz has very strong hitting ability, with a Power rating of 125 on both sides, indicating that he is very good at hitting power hits and home runs. However, this card is weak in speed and base running, which will limit his ability to extend the offense or steal bases. His defense is also only average for a 1B player.
While 99 OVR Nick Kurtz is a top-tier card, he is not the most outstanding, especially since he lacks speed and defense. This means he cannot be as well-rounded as Juan Soto, hence his recommendation is placed last.
That concludes the overview of 10th Inning Program, and hope you could receive all the rewards.
