NEWS DETAIL
FC 27 enters Early Access on September 18, followed by the full global launch on September 25. EA's launch notes reveal the content schedule for the game's initial release period and address controversial aspects of the gameplay experience from previous titles, allowing you to earn greater rewards through standard matches.
EA says FC 27 will continue to strengthen its live service support, bringing more new content, updates, and improvements to various modes. This season, more development resources will be dedicated to the post-launch experience.

This article inspects the major activities planned for launch, changes to Ultimate Team rewards, and upcoming Campaign content.
Future Updates
According to Launch Roadmap, FC 27's opening period will feature several Campaigns and themed events. Ones to Watch will return, while Future Stars is scheduled to arrive earlier than in previous editions.
Other announced content includes UEFA European Nights, Ultimate Scream, Road to the Knockouts, Holofoot Unleashed, Black Friday Thunderstruck, Screaming Grounds, Winter Wild Cards, and Best of Showdowns, covering the period from FIFA 27 Early Access through winter.
Ultimate Team
One of the most exciting changes is EA's decision to increase FUT 27 coins and Season Points earned after matches. Post-match FC coins rewards will increase in Rivals, Champions, and Squad Battles.
In FC 26, a match would typically provide around 500 to 600 FUT coins, while Champions and Rivals matches in FC 27 can offer several times that amount. Squad Battles will also receive higher post-match rewards.
Season Points will also become part of FIFA 27 match reward system. Each eligible match can provide between 15 and 100 Season Points, with a daily limit of 850 Season Points earned through matches.
As long as you keep playing FUT 27 matches, you can build up both coins and Season progress without constantly switching to Career Mode, Pro Clubs, or other modes just to complete Season objectives.
EA FC 27 Division Rivals will feature more noticeable reward differences between Divisions, making it more worthwhile to climb the rankings. EA also says it may further improve rewards for higher Division players based on post-launch feedback and introduce new reward types, such as Tokens.
Bounties will also return with a higher appearance frequency. Completing bounties can earn your weekly reward points or help you progress through Rivals ladder more quickly.
Champions will continue to use 15-match Champions Finals format. Champions Qualification Points can be earned through both Rivals and Squad Battles, while Division 6 requirement for Champions qualification will be removed.
In FIFA 27, Squad Battles will also offer higher post-match rewards and Champions Qualification Points. This gives players who prefer single-player content a way to prepare for Champions through PvE gameplay.
Live Events will rotate around the current Campaign and Season, including Online Live Events and Single Player Live Events. Tournaments, gauntlets, and exhibitions will all return.
FUT 27 Season 1 will also introduce Ultimate Gauntlet during its second week, featuring two rounds. This gives Ultimate Team more daily activities, allowing you to choose different events based on your available time and preferred playstyle.
Tradeable Rewards and Store
FC 27 will add more tradeable rewards, giving you more flexibility when adjusting your squad. EA wants players to improve their teams by bidding on Player Items, completing EVOs, or using resources earned through matches.
Champions will also receive an exclusive reward store. Champions Tokens will continue to serve as a reward currency, allowing you to redeem different tiers of players and other items in Token Store, including Team of the Week players with a distinctive red design.
FIFA 27 store will reduce some promotional pack offers and lower the limits on certain offers. EA emphasizes that stores should complement FUT's reward and progression systems, while earning rewards through matches remains the core way to build a Club.

Team of the Week
FUT 27's Team of the Week will introduce a community participation system. During the first six Team of the Week releases of Season 1, you will vote for one player each week and change your selection before voting closes. An EA account will be required to participate.
This change adds more interaction to Team of the Week and gives players a more direct role in shaping the weekly content.
Destined for Glory
Destined for Glory will launch on September 25, with its featured players influenced by the results of EA SPORTS FC 26 Ultimate Team community votes and FC 27 Ratings Database votes.
Cover star Kylian Mbappé received the highest number of community votes. Other players in the first release include Morgan Rogers, who recently joined Chelsea; Matheus Fernandes, who recently joined Tottenham Hotspur; as well as Alexander Isak and Bryan Mbeumo.
Destined for Glory Player Items will begin receiving upgrades from September 18 based on the players' real-world performances in their domestic leagues. Players in different positions will have different upgrade requirements.
For example, forwards and midfielders may receive upgrades based on goals and assists, while defenders may receive upgrades based on clean-sheet performances.
Campaign
EA plans to adjust the campaign structure in FC 27, making each event's player lineup more focused. The new version will feature fewer players in each campaign while reducing the attribute gap between different tiers within the lineup.
The first campaign after FUT 27 Early Access, Destined for Glory, will feature just 15 players. Lower-tier campaign players will be closer in overall quality to higher-tier players, giving you a better chance of actually using an event card in your squad.
This change could help address the problem of campaigns becoming overloaded with cards. In previous editions, some campaigns created plenty of hype, but many lower-rated cards quickly lost their value and were close to quick-sell prices shortly after release. Reducing the size of each campaign and improving its overall quality could give you more reason to look forward to new events.
EA FC 27 is trying to create a more direct connection between match rewards, single-player content, competitive modes, and squad progression.
Whether these changes can genuinely improve Ultimate Team's long-term experience will depend on the actual rewards at launch and whether EA follows through with its future updates. At least based on the current launch notes, FC 27 new direction is definitely worth looking forward to.
