Team of the Season, one of the three major promotions held every year, is finally here. The latest trailer for FUT 25 showcases outstanding players from the world’s top football leagues during the previous season.

After a long voting process, 33 cards will be selected for Ultimate TOTS. These cards are expected to be released on Friday, June 6th.

What Is Team of The Season?

Team of the Season is one of the three major promotions held every year in EA Sports FC series, which aims to select the best players in the previous season and give them a boost.

The voting method this time differs from FC 24. This time, the voting is divided into different leagues. 11 players will be voted by fans in each league. The winning players will be added to the game as TOTS cards.

TOTS cards have a unique light blue and gold design, and the player’s various statistics and overall ratings will receive amazing improvements. Most of them will become one of the most powerful players in FC 25.

As the promotion progresses, EA Sports usually holds an additional Ultimate TOTS voting event, which brings together the best performing players from all leagues into an elite lineup, Ultimate TOTS.

This final lineup will be released at the end of TOTS event, which is expected to be on June 6. Players can unlock the players in it for a limited time, which also marks the end of voting for each league.

All TOTS cards can be drawn through gift packs after they are released, giving lucky players the opportunity to add high-value new members to their team. However, you need to prepare enough FUT 25 Coins.

Defenders

• Alisson (95 Overall Rating): Goalkeepers, Brazil, Liverpool
• Trent Alexander-Arnold (95 Overall Rating): Right Back, England, Liverpool
• Virgil van Dijk (97 Overall Rating): Center Back, Netherlands, Liverpool
• Theo Hernandez (95 Overall Rating): Left Back, France, AC Milan

Liverpool’s defensive strength is unquestionable. After Arne Slot took over the team left by the previous coach, he relied on careful rotation and tactics, as well as improving the versatility of the players to make up for the lack of depth in some positions. Under his guidance, the players once again played lively and posed an enormous threat to Manchester City and Arsenal.

Liverpool’s three players on the defensive line are the best in the team. Alisson missed a few games because of injury, otherwise his rating might be higher. Trent Alexander-Arnold and Virgil van Dijk are out of a contract in the summer of 2025, but they have shown great professionalism.

Theo Hernandez is the only AC Milan player of the four players, but he is considered a Meta player and will almost certainly play in Ultimate TOTS.
